i am planning onordering a set for my SG, but dont know where to order from. everybody says order direct from Pez..but i got a $50 ebay gift certificate for X-mas. i can get them off ebay for $75 free shipping...use the gift card then i only have to pay $25 for them. i'll prolly do the ebay deal since i got the gift certificate.
Just ordered a full system off EBay for my RG.(Front/Rear Speakers, AMP and RG Bracket) $390.00 and some changedelivered. After reading through some posts here, they say to call Pez and hell match the price. I probably should have done that.
I would get them, but I am afraid to get into the fairing. I wish you could install them without opening up the fairing.
Piece of cake man, do it! You remove 7, I think, screws and unplug the headlight, fairing off! Screw the speakers in, everything is already there, and plug in the speakers.7 screws later your done! Do a search I think there is a "step by step" if ya need it!
emailed Pez about meeting or beating ebays price. he emailed back saying that he has never agreed to match anyones price and is in the process of changing his warrantyto dealer purchase only.he also said buyer beware.

just thought i would pass this alone.
I bought my Ultrasound setup well over a month ago from PEZ. I sent him an email just to see if you would match the Ebay price. He responded that he would. Here is his email:
Thanks for your consideration. Im getting pretty tired of these EBAY guys
lowballing our stuff and walking away from any service once the funds are in
their hands. Im trying to figure my options on this. I will match the deal
for you, but you will need the Road Glide Adaptor Kit which is normally $35
members price. I will do it for $25 for you making the total
$379.95delivered. If you wish to proceed--let me know and I will set it up
for you
Hope to hear from you soon--PEZ
It sounds like PEZ has reached his limit with matching the low Ebay price. I don't blame him. However, it looks like he's created this problem for himself. He obviously sold a large order to the Ebay guys and now he's paying the price. Interesting . . .
What do you guys and gals think???
BTW, I'm very happy with the Hogtunes Ultrasound setup. Thank you PEZ
Not sure why Pez would say something to you and something else to another forum member knowing that it would get back around. But again stories often change on the web.
My opinion is if he is selling in bulk to others vendors (EBays sellers) at discount prices then he has to expect to be undercut in the end. He got his money up front so it isn't hurting him in the end, and business is business. Only his customers suffer when there are warranty issues if he stops honoring products purchased outside of him when he initially created the problem himself.
Again thisis just my opinion based on very little information posted in this thread so I don't have all of the facts.

I agree with everything you say. I also want to give PEZ every benefit of the doubt. He is obviously a stand-up guy who deserves our business.
