I have the HT's in my fairing and will probably be going with the HT's amp along with speakers in my lowers when I get some. I read here recently that Pez is coming out with HT's for the lowers. Can't wait. The warranty Pez offers is great. I had one start to crackle a little, contacted Pez and he has one shipped right out to me. Outstanding person to deal with. Does anyone know if the amp has the same 20 year warranty?
After all the posts about the hg speaker upgrade I am strating to think that even tho my speaker sound ok for what they are maybe I should upgrade then I will see the huge difference, but as another member stated I reall dont want to deal with taking the fairing off I dont have patienced and I am afraid of damaging it.

It's really super easy to take the fairing off. There's 2 torx screws on each side, one is kinda by your mirrors and the other down next to the forks. Then three across the front that hold your windshield on and that's it. I remove the side screws first, then take the two outside front off and loosen the center one enough to get the windshield off, then remove the center one. The fairing doesn't fall off or anything, you have to take it off. As you take it off you can easily hold it up and you'll see a harness and plug into the back of the headlight. Remove the plug from the light and you're in.
You can do it! And if you have running lights like I do, just throw an old sock over each one. And I usually throw a towel over the front fender too.
