Default Air Valve Relocation Kit

Anyone using the air valve relocation kit on a road king? Does it work and worth the trouble to put on.

not sure what valve you are relocating.
Am going to move my shock air valve with an extension from automotive-hardware.com
looks like it will do the trick, figure to use teflon tape when attaching it to the existing valve
not very much money either

Ebay seller has a relocation kit tha he makes and sells for about $25 that relocates the air valve from beside the saddlebag to point straight up so you do not have to remove the left bag to check air pressure in the rear suspension shocks.

Don't bother with that, too much $$$. Go to the nearest auto parts store and get some plastic air line, 2' should be enough, about $2. drill a hole in the rear bag support and move the valve there. That's allI did, works like a charm. Don't forget to tie up the air line so it don't get caught on anything. I learned the hard way.

I drilled a hole in the left rear (black) saddlebag bracket for the stock valve and added a valve stem extension on the up side making checking and servicing very easy. Picked the location carefully to clear the saddlebag lid/backrest/etc.

I just cut a piece of metal that the air valve fits through and then a slot so I would just have to loosen a rear support bolt and slide it in. I bent the metal so the valve is facing up just enough to get a 90 degree air hose valve on it.
