well today i took the plunge and join in with all the touring guys. i bought a 2004 RK custom. i look forward to all the help you all can give me. i expect i will be making some changes to this virtually stock 04 over the next cuple of years. thanks in advance for all the info i will be getting. plus ai also have this 02 dyna for sale..... hmmmmm...
nice bike.....of course you know the first order of business before anything else is if you have stock mufflers, change them immediately! and free up that poor constipated motor...the rush ones are nice
i just bought the 04 today. it seemed like too good a deal to pass up. i was not really looking actually. i currently have a lowrider that i have been working on. see the picture... but this looked like such a great deal. it is an 04 with about 3600 miles on it. it has a stage II done on it with vance and hines pipes. it has a removeable shield and the tour pack bag on the back. the bike has never been wet and comes with a cover and it's own bubble not to mention a 3 digit tag. like i said a very good deal. i did not ride it much today (too cold) but it seems very comfortable. it has a Mustang seat and seems to ride great. i am reading the book tonight but i can't find anything that seems to tell me what the two switches are on the top triple tree. they are factory and i would assume acc switches for something like a light bar but i am not sure. (no light bar on the bike) the owner did not know either. hmmm. maybe they are fakes...

Congrats on the new bike. The two switches on the narcell are not used on the custom. On the classic the one on the right is for the driving lights that come stock on that bike. The one on the left is an accessary switch. There are two plugs behind the headlight you can connect to to use the switches for what ever you want.
