Anyone have a recommendation for improved ride. Am considering the Progressive 440's - can anyone tell me what length/model number needed and if they are a significant improvement?
I have a SG, hated the ride of the lowered suspension. Went on ebay and purchased standard air shocks that were off a '05 Ultra that was converted to a trike. Paid $47. I now love the ride. It's like night and day. Very smooth, no more harsh wacks that I was getting with the lowered shocks.
stock height for a e-glide is 13" the sg i belive use the lower 12" version of the oem air suspension.
i run 11 1/2" progressive 440's on my e-glide
i just put a set of 11 1/2" on the other halfs new 06 e-glide and its riding as good if not better than stock
for about 150.00 less than 440's
