Not that this could in any way help, but... my truck was throwing a warning light every time I got up to 3k RPM, then would go out when I let off the gas. Turned out that the altenator was going out. Still worked a bit, but was not charging to the full capacity. Wasn't there an issue with the regulators on the '07's?

So, check your plug topscrew that goes into your plug wire, make sure it is tight etc.

What Glide said is correct for self diagnoses, trouble is the average person is not going to know what to do with the info when that get it. Hell a lot of the techs don't know what to do with the scanner let alone dvom meter. If the bike is under warranty take it to another dealer if your in Illinois area drop me a line and I'll see if I can help ya out. I think someone mentioned the lemon law...it does not apply to motorcycles in the state of Illinois.
