Its just that my heart is 50/50 I feel like all of the negatives out weigh the benefits. for that kind of cash the bike should be great and a perfected machine. I had Metric bikes my whole life, and always wanted a RK. Now that I have my opportunity I'm scared as hell. I bought the additional warranty to be safe.
Get the Screaming Eagle. If I could afford it I would keep my Ultra and get a Screaming Eagle Road King.
Did you look at the Firefighter Special Editions. I had a 2002 Firefighters edition and wish I still had it. I looked a picture in my myspace page of my first bike and it still looks great.
I bought the screaming eagle and I have had the head gasket oil leak problem. This of course pissed me off[:@] it should as said above run like a lexus. But you know what I love the bike!!!!! It runs strong[8D] I also bought an extended warranty 7 years total because I was worried like you. All bikes have their problems in one way or another. If it is what you want and you can get it do it- you only live once!!!
