Be sure to look at your new cover on the back side before you install it and make sure that it has the same groove for the oring. If not you will need to buy the gasket to replace the oring. I put a new cover on my UC and that's what I had to do. The custom derby that I installed did not have the groove- might save you some grief!

use a 5/16 long shank ball end3/8 allen you can get they from any tool man snap on ,mac proto ect

thanks for the heads up. i do have the replacement gasket P/N 25416-99C that is required for the replacement derby cover i have.

mcline_1968 I don't think the allen size is metric in the air cleaner or floorboad.

The allen size is 5/16 for the Air cleaner cover and the floor board mount

And when you're all done messing around, contact "soos" here on the forum or go to his ebay store "hundred dolla accessories" and get some passenger floorboard spacers so you never have totake the floorboard off again to get into the derby cover!

Screws on dreby are T27 as you mentioned. The bolt holding my floorboards on are allen, not torx. I large bolt to hold floorboard frame to bike frame.
