Awesome thread and build!
As far as getting some good sound from your sub, with a sealed enclosure. I did this for a friend a while ago and it sounded awesome... i am currently working on something for my own now, gonna be clean and mean!
dont want to steal your thread, but if you want another idea here you go...
i built an enclosure that slides in and out the bag... hard to see from the picture, but the sub is installed facing the lid and is completely sealed inside the bag, when the lid is shut (the lid actually creates a near perfect seal, making this similar to a bandpass, but the box was made to "stand alone". i also added a port that faces the rear wheel. the inside of the box is vented, but i didnt want a square hole on the outside of his bag so i used a round port (which is lined up with the vent in the box)... hope that makes sense. i resined the inside of the box, for a little water proofing (just in case). When it was all done, it really sounded awesome. I used an in dash tv/dvd clarion head unit, alpine pdx 4.150 and alpine type x components up front, i changed the tweeter to a mb quartz, because the alpine was too big to flush into the front fairing...
hope this all makes since (since you already cut the hole in your bag, you may not be able to do it this way, but i thought i would just post this for another suggestion)...
again, i am new here and i dont want to thread jack (so I apologize)...

picture doesnt seem to be working
