Well I'm finding out why there was no match and that's why some of our local shops won't even talk about painting the pearls. When I'm through it will have cost me more than if I would have just bought the lowers from HD. Live and learn. Always the hard way LOL. Again Thanks fellows for the replys..

the problem with the 07 pearl whites is the color is way different than the 08 pearl whites. The PPG codes is a perfect match for the 08, but not so much for the 07s. I don't know why, the 07s are way more of a gold, the 08s are a "brighter, cleaner white". So i'm not sure that the Harley paint will match either because they have the same code. The Aztec Orange color is the worst, I had to shot it and got the orange code from a Nissan 350z and went from there. It was pretty close, it took some tinting but way better than anything else.

I only have copies of the '07 and '06 HD paint book air dry paints so I can't say what 3-stage paints were used previously or in '08. For '07 the only paints requiring a base coat are White Gold Pearl, Yellow Pearl, and Mirage Orange; in '06 the same three are listed plus Brandywine Wine Sunglo and Rich Sunglo Blue. And the HD paint book doesn't provide anything but touch-up paint for the CVO models. The other '07 and '06 colors are primed, color, and clear.
