personally, I did glides with powder coated forks and crash bars. Pipes and the seat would be the first things I would do though.

With the O2 sensors do I still need a SERT or can the computer handleit on it's own
Alot of people will tell you that you need a sert or a flash for just pipes. I disagree. I ran mine over 5,000 miles before I got a flash, I have an 04 though. The O2 sensors should detect the slight difference and adjust. It's your bike though, so it's up to you. If you are gonna do more mods in the future, go ahead and pick up a tuner, you'll need it at some point anyway. If not, just get the hd flash and be done with it.
