Congrats. Just finished my 95 HQ build a few weeks ago. I will say one thing. The first time you twist the wrist, hang on. A power shift from 1st to 2nd and my front end went vertical big time lol. Well over 100/100 on the dyno...

Best of luck with the build. I am sure you will not be disappointed but be forewarned the power is addictive. You always want more.

All I can add to what the others say is that you'll need to purchase and install a riders backrest...the only way to stay planted on the seat when you twist the wick.....

Oh, and the flash is necessary. The stock and stage 1 timing tables are way to agressive for the build.

Since we're on this subject, is anyone else running a HQ build of any size with stock headers and slip on mufflers? I won't have the funds for awhile to get a new exhaust setup so I've gotta stick with what I have now which are just slip on tuned flow hookers.

bdaug,Kevin ran his HQ 95" build with the stock '06 headpipes and mufflers and later swapped out the stock mufflers for some V&H oval slip-ons from a buddy. You can call and ask him about the details if you like.

I too am building a HQ 95", 10:1, HQ 39G cam, Fatcat 2-1 on '02 FLHTCI. Currently I have a PC USB III and Stage I flash. Should I remove the Power Commander and just get a SERT if I don't have the Stage II flash. Thanks,
