Jeff....get a 9 1/2 " shield. I have a 2008 Anniversary Street Glide. I am 6'1" tall and it works great. I still look over the top of the shield. I got the smoked one and it looks great with my copper glide. I think you will be happier with the 9 1/2 inch. People want to go shorter to keep the glide look but IMHO....it isn't the sheild that makes the bike look good...it's the bike which makes the bike look good. People are are more apt to pay attention to the bike and not the shield.

Bike HAD the 12" stock HD shield on it. I found myself looking right across the edge of it.
Bought a 9.55 inche clearview in light smoke. I look over it by 2-3 inches. It offers the same, or BETTER wind protection than the stocker did, and the tint is light enough that it isn't an issue, even at night.
