Default Need Suggestions

I recently bought wildbillscycles two inch floorboard brackets for my 08flhr and am looking for suggestions on extended brake and shift levers. I am only planning on puting the toe shifter on as i have already bought the heel shiftlever eliminator from Kuryakyn. I am about 6'2 so any extra leg room will be great. If the question has already been posted i apoloygize. any help will be great thanks.

I think you will run into trouble with the EZ Brake rear brake lever in this situation. I tried it and found that the brake pedal sits a bunch closer to the floorboard and does not move ahead with the floorboard when installing the new relocator brackets. The kind folks at EZ Brake let me order one to try but it DID NOT work well for me. They did allow me to return it. The problem is that it sits over the top of the front of the floorboard and doesn't sit out over the edge as if the floorboard was in its stock position. This with it being lower makes it difficult to slide your foot underneath the pedal. This defeats the purpose by creating a bunch of movement of your leg/foot to apply the brake. I put the stock lever back on andso far I think I will stay with that for now. There are other manufacturers out there that make extended pedals that do not sit close to the floorboard including a nice billet version that HD supplies. The one thing though I heard about the HDlever is that it most likely will not be able to be used with aftermarket header pipes such as true duals as the fit is too close and hits the aftermarket pipes. I have also installed the spacers to move the floorboards out some and by doing this; I found that I also did not need to change the shift levers. You may want to install the floorboard brackets and take a look at what I'm trying to describe before you order anything. I got the spacer kit to move them out from one of the members here. They are a lot nicer than the ones that Kuryakyn sells, powder coated VS painted. Here are a couple photos of mine with the floorboard extenders installed and stock levers. Hope this helps. I'm 6'3 and have an inseam of 36". This set up is working well for me.

6'3" use a Kuryakyn Extended & board spacers. I also run the shift arms a tight as possible to the board.
