would like some feed back on these mufflers,I ordered a set of these mufflers thinking they where the supertrapp se's,I own them now and will be keeping them, was curious how they compare to the se's in sound and performance,I have them on my bike now with 12 discs in each muffler and they sound pretty good in my shop not real loud, but I am unable to test them on the road do to my location and it is winter.

What do they look like a picture might be nice...Can't really tell you much, as we don't know to much from your explanition....Not trying to be a smart *** here but need some more Input...
white knight ,I realize you are not trying to be a smart *** ,but I don't no how to explain them any better, they are advertised as supertrapp 3 inch internal disc slip-ons,they come with 24 diffuser discs, the idea is to add or subtract discs as needed for performance and sound, they look about the same as supertrapp se's the ones I have are tapered end caps, just wanted some feedback from riders who may have used this type of muffler and how it sonuds and performs on the highway,so that I will know what to expect from them when the riding season begins .
I have tried two different sets of them with V&H true duals, they produced the same HP&Tas the 4" HD touring mufflers, the reason I had two sets is when I had the bike dyno tuned it just ruined the chrome where the disc pack sits in the muffler so I picked up another set like new from a board member when I went to the TMAX thinking that problem be solved,WRONG,it took longer but I could see the chrome start to change again,I don't think much of the chrome onthis style of Supertrapp mufflers my other dislike was the sound,it seemed after about two-three hours in the seat the sound change to a flat tonenot a crisp sound, there a 5 on a 1-10 loudness scale,if your not too fussy about the chrome I guess there fine but it just bugged me.
I have run these 3" super trapps with open end caps and true duells for over 50,000 miles on two differant bikes with no blueing at all. The open end caps will also give them a nice note. Doc
hddoc,do you run 14 discs right and 10 discs left with open end caps and it runs good with no chrome discolouration and good sound at highway speed?if this is the case I will have to look into getting a set of the open end caps and giving your set up a go.
