Just ordered an HJC modular from an ebay dealer.
Tried one on earlier and liked it. Will use in cold and/or bad weather.

Here is one you may not have heard. But before you buy one at least look at the Caberg Justissimo. It is easily the best modular helmet I have tried. Plenty of info about it if you Google it.

Had a shoei X-11 not modular (and I could not get my eyeglasses on!) Bought the HD Modular for me and my wife and they are great!

I've been thinking about getting a helmet for cold weather and rain what do you guys think about the modular helmets and where is a good place to get one for a good price.
I just bought a Nolan N 102 from these guys for $187 and it's great. I was amazed at the visibility with this helmet and yeah it's warmer than my half! They're last years models etc. and they have Shoei's as well.

Ride well,

Check out this website I found here reading another helmet thread:
http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcyc...et-weights.htm
I looked around and decided I liked the Vega Summit II modular. They are equal imo to theHJC modulars. We have another Vega full face and we liked the quality and you can't beat the price. Found the Vega Summit II on ebay for $130 plus shipping. Another place for good prices is www.newenough.com. Good luck.

I bought a Nolan N-102 mostly because of how comfortable it was for me. Tried on all the helmets that are suggested here.

I suggest that you try them all on and find the make and size you like and then go on Ebay and buy it from an Ebay store. You'll save $70 or more that way.

Keep in mind that the fit is very important. You'll know the instant you put it on.

One more reason that I bought it was that my wife also has one. Our plan to get the bluetooth intercom eventually. Possibly after we win the loto!
Just my 2 cents.

Own a Shoei Multitec here. Very comfortable. Flip lid makes it a lot easier to get my glasses on.

I've got a fullface Arai Quantum which fits me really well. I've ordered helmets from this place: http://www.helmetharbor.com/ and had good success with them.
