I have two - a HJC Sy-Max and a Harley. Both are okay. My advice is to shop around for one that fits/feel right. Neither of the ones I have are as comfortable as the Shoei Multitec. YMMV...

I hear great things about the Shoei Multitec, but I can't find a local dealer with one in stock so I can try it on. So far the most comfortable helmet I have found is the Shoei RF1000 full face. Does anybody know if the fit would be the same on the multitec?

I have an RF-1000. The fit of the Multitec is very similar...

I must have an odd shapped head becuase most of the the full face or modular helmets I've tried just didn't fit right. I finally picked up a Z1R Eclipse at my harley shop, its the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. I've read some online review that don't rate it very high, but it works for both me and my wife, and at a reasonable price (about $200). I know Shoei and Arai are both very highly rated, but just way too uncomfortable for my head.

Got a Nolan 102N for Xmas. Have had it out in near freezing weather for many miles; very warm and comfortable. I didn't need my normal neck protection. Many features like a double visor to help prevent fogging, sun shade, lots of adjustments to the visor, good ventilation, and it's designed for electronics like an intercom and radio. I like the reduction in wind noise and overall comfort and expect to wear it in warm weather this summer on longer trips.

I used to like full faced helmets but I'm more comfortable with a half helmet and a fleese hat and neck wrap for the cold weather.
