I rode over the weekend because it's snowing again.
This time the weather people gave an honest prediction.
Last night:
snow is coming eventually.
We think 1-3 inches, but that could be conservative, but we really don't know.
I almost fell out of my chair. First honest weather forecast I had ever heard, and I'm OLD!!
We usually go riding on this holiday, my wife and another rider get the day off, another rider is retired and I am self-employeed so I can take off too.
Woke up to 14 degrees and a high of a balmy 37 forecast. So I decided to go to work. Got to the shop and out of propane, 38 degrees in side! Waiting on Energy United truck to get here. I,m in Statesville, NC just N of Charlotte.
No snow here just cold. Did little over 45 miles today sunny and22 degrees when I left. It's peaked now at a balmy 27 degrees. Couldn't wash the bike when I got back, damn hose is frozen.
Oh well plenty of beer and I'm off work for the day, guess it could be worse.
