Update on Chrome Center-Stand Foot
Okay you guys may not believe this.
I made a previous post about a lost foot on my HD chrome center stand.
Well after all the gnashing of teeth, I went online and called the HD Corporate customer service to see if they could help.
I gave them my info, talked to the guy there and worked with him.
They had to see if the buyer could talk to the manufacturer and get another foot.
Because they don’t sell the part separate.
After a week or so they called me back and they aresending the new foot to my house. Free. [sm=americanasmiley.gif]
No more bad mouthing these guys!

By the way just for clarification. The reason they said theyd send it to me for free was:

Well or course that's why. They told me to expect special treatment when I bought my anniversary model.[sm=escape.gif]

Good to hear.
A gal here at work was FLOORED when she went to a dealer here in Des Moines Iowa, yesterday. Took in her bike battery (it was dead) to see if they would test it for her. They came back out and said "it's dead." They offered to keep it over night and charge it and see if it would hold a charge. She called them this morning and the battery is all good! No charge to her!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps we are starting to see some better service all around?
