What an IDIOT
I cant believe what I did. Spent a great day riding with a friend of mine. We did about 110 miles just enjoying the sites. I get back to my house, and get ready to open my garage door. Well, when I got off the bike I forgot to put the kick stand done. So, there is 900 lbs coming down on my ankle. I was able to move but I scratched the chrome on my footboard and the chrome pegs. My friend was hysterical laughing at me for 5 minutes until he was able to take a picture and only then did he help me pick up the bike. Im afraid I may have to kill him if he circulates the photos LOL. So, who else out there did something stupid? Please share

Sheeesh! Ok, I'll admit it, I've done something stupid before, also. If you want to know more you will have to tell me which time you want to know about, I'd send you a list, just not sure my e-mail will allow a list that long to be sent.

and here i thought you were at my 40th class reunion saturday and were referring to me (it got really drunk out) .. Never done that but ive dropped mine being just stupid ... At least you have it broke in now

I did the same thing on my way back from DC for Rolling Thunder Last year. We had done about 250 miles already that day, and we were stopping on the Ohio Turnpike at one of the service plazas. I parked, turned off the ignition, was talking to one of the guys i was riding with, leaned the bike over on the side stand, and the second it leaned further than normal i realized i hadn't put the side stand down. i "eased" it down to the engine guard, and then was able to lift it back up once i gathered myself. Embarassing to say the least, but we've all done it at one time or another.
