I'm going to be install these on my 07 SG, http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US. First I'm goning to have them powder coated, black of course, and I've read that the stock turn signals will work. What I'd like to find out is, are all HD bullet turn signals the same, Dyna,Sportster, etc. What I'd like to do is get another set off of Ebay possibly, and have them powder coated with the brackets so that when it comes time to install I have everything togather ready to go.
Thanks for any info.
My wife has an 06 screaming eagle fat boy and put on the passing lamp set up like you're looking at. The stock turn signals are different than the ones that are used with the passing lamp setup. Watch what you get.
I agree. I had the bullet signals mounted to my rk custom bars. When I got a passing lightbar, the same signals do not work... ya have to order a specific kind... Now, when I did mine, they did not sell just the turn signals, you had to buy the whole kit, bar, passing lamps, and turn signals. I just needed the signals, and lucked out that they sell one for a softail. I bought those, and they worked great... and they were cheaper than the ones they now sell for the touring models...
Thanks for responding guys. I guess the RK and Fat Boys are not a direct swap, guess I'll have to keep an eye out ofr some SG signals, maybe someone here has a set they want to get rid of. Unless someone knows if the turn signals from another HD model will swap out.
I've read here that the stock SG fronts will work with these brackets, please correct me if I am wrong. Anyone know the difference between the stockers and the set HD says you need to buy separately.
I'm installing a set of lowers also and as soon as I am done I'll post pics ( if I can figure out how).

IIRC the stock SG bullet turn signals will work on those brackets. If all your looking for is a extra set of turn signals, just search for any SG front stock units, or I think (not 100% sure though) that any factory front bullet turn signals will do the job also. All you need to do is look up the part number (its easy if you have a parts book for your bike and your should IMHO) for the front turn signals, and then search for them on ebay, here, or at your local dealer.
Basically with the bullet signals, they are front/rear specific, but other than that I am 99% sure they are the same.....check the PN to be sure.
