Default Premium tour pack rack bag

I'm looking at a couple of bags in the JP Cycles mag. One is the Decker Supreme T-Bag (800-069)and the other is the Dakota Bag (830-890). Anyone have any experience with these? What do you use?

I have the Nelson Riggs tour pack bag....great and reasonably priced.

http://www.nelsonrigg.com/pages/Crui...WR1000-Big.htm

GWR-1000 Rear Rack Pack
• Large external pockets expand to twice their capacity
• Two additional pockets are located within easy reach of the passenger, giving you a total of four external pockets and convenient storage for all of your smaller items.
• Strategically placed rivets add long-term strength and reliability
• Two metal D-rings allow items to be tied to bag, if necessary
• Main compartment measures: 20”L x 11”W x 11”H
• Holds 39.66 Liters
MSRP $149.95

I have the Dekker Supreme. Had it about 3 years now and love it. Fits the HD rack perfectly. Packs a lot of stuff. You don't even know it's there............about the same capacity as the tour pack, so it about doubles your cargo space. It has removable inner panels if you want a little more room, but I like the panels as they protect my cameras/computer stuff that I lug on long trips. Lots of pockets and even has removable side bags you can hook around your waist to carry stuff with you when you leave the bike. Found out last summer on the way down to Tennessee if you're gonna use the rain cover (built in) use something to secure it cause it won't stay over the bag on it's own! Otherwise, highly recommend the DS.

I have the Dekker Supreme, also. Have had it for a couple of years now. Used it on one long trip (San Francisco --> Los Angeles --> Washington, DC --> San Francisco). It is a good bag but I wish the removable panels weren't quite so thick. You lose a lot of your storage space with them in. You can get that space back by removing the panels but then the bag kind of loses some of its shape. It is well made and stands up well to use.

I now have one of the new Saddlemen BR4100 Backrest Bags. It holds a sh*tload of stuff, it iswell-built and, for me, makes a perfect backrest with my Sundowner. The only drawback I've found is that it doesn't come with a raincover and they don't make one for it. I pack my stuff in a Dry Sack (available at most sporting goods stores) before I put it in the bag. The bag itself is made of a water resistant (not waterproof) material and has a thin plastic stifener to keep its shape so the onlywater issues come from around the zippers.

We also have the T-Bags Dekker Supreme. Going on 7 years now and no problems. Newer models are a little different, but mine has the removable side packs and built in rain cover. Nice, quality bag, designed to fit the tour pak rack.

We also have the T-Bags Dekker Supreme. Have had it for 2 yrs. works great.
Recently ran across this one on ebay "Kuryakyn GranTraveler Touring Luggage Bag Pack"Looked interesting. It has wheels and a pull up handle. Would make things a littler easier getting to the room at the end of the day. They are always coming up with something new.
