Thats awesome!!! You say her b-day is on the 5th but you'll be away til the 6th....I guess we all know who is getting laid on the 6th. Whats that saying.. 'chrome wont get ya' home but it will get ya' laid'.. seems you are about to put a whole new angle on that one 'eh? LOL
I got her FXDWG home today without being seen and it is safely hidden under the bike cover. She walked right by it when she got home and didn't notice a thing!....I really want to just give it to her but I'm going to try and hold on until Tuesday to do it like I planned. Anyway...The bike is SWEET.....I really like the anniversary colors on that bike....I only added a few extra's - Mostly safety stuff like RTB Controller w/flasher, Headlight modulator, Premium horn, Battery tender....And a backrest of course. I'm going to let her do her own customizing so she gets it the way she wants. I have to say the new mufllers on this bike sound pretty good for stock...I was really surpised....Much louder than the 2007.
ANYWAY, almost as important, when I walked into the shop today at the dealer to pick her bike up.....My bike was sitting there!....He swapped with a New England dealer and got it for me and I gotta saw....SWEEEET!.....I just can't get enough of the Crimson red....I probably won't take delivery for about 6 weeks because I've added a LOT of extra's and some of the parts are going to take time to get....I was alright with waiting until I saw the bike today....Now, it's going to be a LONG 6 weeks!.....My "Extra's" list is getting longer every day and by the time I'm finished I might have been better off buying the SE.....But, at least I'll have it the way I want it.......Heck, I thought the bikes were expensive.....
Lol, great story. I can't wait to hear what happens next! Man, that red is perdy too! Get them pictures up soon! Too bad you can't set up a camcorder or something to catch her suprise in the garage!
Congrats and welcome. Now since you have been lurking, I'm quite sure you are aware of the rules around here. Along with you getting lucky on the 6th, for being such a great man, put extra time aside for that photo shoot you need to do and post to the Showdown!! If you need ideas go there and learn what you need to do. Then and only then can you take pictures of the bikes and post more.......Have fun!!!!!!!
first welcome next, post the picture of her when she pulls the cover off , and dont worry the first 5 weeks will fly by its the 6th that will seem like forever
