Well you guys just answered the same ? I had. I'm looking to get higher bars for my 99 RK also. The RK bars are just too low. I'm 6'2" so I have to bend forward a little to reach the bars. I was looking at the RK High bars, but hadn't yet decided. My biggest concern was the cables. Thanks for unknowingly answering all of my questions

Have an '05 RK Classic and had same problem as most... I'm 6'1' and the stock bars weren't getting it. Went to the dealer and talked to several folks there (in parts and service). They said that 70% of the folks go with Heritage bars over the RK High Bars (I'm not including beach's and chubbies). They also are the dealer who maintains the Cop bikes around here and they said the Cop bikes have the Heritage bars. That's what I went with (along with the Nastalgia grips) and love them both. Also - no cable changes at all.
