I have a model 91550-00C Fan kit on my 02 Ultra Classic.
Question is what way should the fan blow?
My fan takes the hot air away from the engine while my friends fan blows outside air onto the engine.
Which way is correct?
Thanks,
The cooling fan is thermostatically controlled and will only
operate when the thermostat senses cooling air temperature
of approximately 140° F (60° C).
Cooling air movement is from left to right. Air is drawn in
through slots in the fan cover and blown across the cylinders
and cylinder heads.
Thanks Dawg,
Mine is connected backwards.
The guy I purchased my bike from had the fan installed at the stealers.
Can't believe they hooked it up wrong.
Mine is wired direct to the aux. switch we ride inMardi Gras parades and
run the fan through the parade route.
Thanks again.
