I never thought of taking off those relectors. I'll do that for sure.
I know what you mean about the seat, but that will probably stay. Its a Sundowner. I have a bad back and it is really comfortable. Plus I have the rider's backrest that I can put in when I'm going on a long ride. If I get some extra money at some point I may get a solo for just around town.
I am planning on moving the turn signals. Just saving up. Can't afford everything at once.
I'm going to also look into some other air cleaner covers. Question: If I go with another air cleaner cover, will that automatically mean another air cleaner element, or will the stock one work with some?
To answer some questions:
The center stand is an EZ Up from WheelDock.com. It is FANTASTIC! Goes up unbelievably easy. Took 15 minutes to install. Don't see Harley's on center stands very often! I grew up on Jap bikes, so I love center stands.
The mirrors are actually 3'rd Eye bicycle mirrors $15 a piece. They are smaller than stock mirrors obviously, but I can actually see better because none of my body is in the reflection. By being at the end of the bars they are about five inches further out than stock mirrors. I get a completely clean view and it looks like I don't have mirrors at all.
