Secondly I had the same thing happen to me, the only difference is she was stopped and then ran into me. She said that she saw the turn light turn green and she went. The bad thing was we were not in the turn lane. The good news was she just cracked my tail light and bent the rear fender.
Friend of mine was rearended 3 years ago...3 days later we were at his funeral, Steve Goins-Knoxville TN.
Bitch that rearended him has yet to go to trial over this. Police found pills in her car. She hit him so hard it knocked him out into oncoming traffic on a busy intersection, 4 lane. He was run over multiple times.
I don't mean to start anything here (okay maybe I do) but is it jumping out to everyone else that all the stories here involve getting rear-ended by a chick?
Glad your alright man. Kinda scary out there. Last week lady cut right in front of me, and she had no clue why i was cussin her out when i finally got next to her. Rake up those quotes then get some new bling for your scoot.

RE: REAR ENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!
Getting rear ended is my personal nightmare.
You can kinda sorta keep an eye on the morons beside you on the freeway as they make their calls and fight with their passengers. Even in the city you can keep an eye on the left turners and mergers if you're hinky and paranoid and look everywhere simultaneously.
But sitting at a light?
Theres nowhere to go and no time to move. Zero options all around.
Get tapped by a moron and you're lucky if you're not dead.
Scares the crap out of me when I see them coming up from the rear on the phone...
Glad you're okay. Fix up the scoot and be grateful!
