Switched to a Sundowner after a year of the stock seat. Much better for me on any ride (50-200+ miles. My wife (104lbs) really likes the added pillon width.
Best addition to my bike was the rider backrest along with the Sundowner. Give it some thought.

If I were to change from stock I wouldn nothave a problem goingwith the Sundowner seat. I put one on the Sportster I had and it made a big difference butat this point in timefor the amount of riding I/we do the stock seat is sufficient for us.

One of the first mods I did was change the stock seat to the Sundowner. I'm glad I did. Better lower back support than stock for the rider and with the thicker padding, morecomfortable forpassengeron long rides. I'm pleased with the Sundowner.

I had one on my SG, sold it. It was comfy, but it looked like I had a seat with wheels. That thing was huge.

I have one on my RKC. I absolutely love it, as does my wife!

Great for 600 mile days.

I absolutely love my sundowner. One of the best mods for my bike. I use that for long trips with the wife. She especially loves the extra room. For short trips and just puttin around, I throw on my low profile SE seat.

I'm looking to replace my stock Road Glide seat and get something more comfy for my wife. I had it narrowed down to the comfort stich (which is stock on the ultra) or the sundowner. I think you guys made up my mind for me!

Soon as I get my tax refund this year I'm buying the Sundowner and having BadX modify it with double foam for both rider and passenger (maybe go with the gel pad too..not sure yet about the gel pad...will see what BadX thinks...I/we need all the extra padding we can get as both of us have bad backs). Just my .02 worth.
