Will other styles of end caps fit on my Rinehart TD's or are the black end caps my only option?

My riding buddy has slash cut, billet chrome tips on his Rinehart's. They look lot's better than the black/purple ones. He got them from www.easternperformance.com Good price, free shipping and a sponsor of this forum. Take a look.

As gezr said there a few other options. I have a pair of black tips from eastern. They are holding up very well.

Yes, they do. I just like the black caps with the black bike. And these new caps are gloss black, matches the black bike real nice

I agree, they do look good on you black bike.
How's the fit, any rattle at all?
I'm a little tied of the purple look, I also have a black Ultra and purple just doesn't do it for me.

Well, I thought I answered this....
Install Paul Yaffe adapter part number SE-TA and you can install Supertrapp,Rush and PYO end caps on your Rinehart mufflers

You could get the black/purple ones powder coated to match the bike! It'd be a whole lot cheaper than buying new ones and they turn out great. Just be sure to tell the powder coater to mask the male end that fits into the muffler since it's such a tight fit already.

or you could trade your nice shiny set for a set of ones that turned purple on their own! Just look for them at any big bike event.
