Yes...at the service intervals. Even though it feels fine, it always feels better after it gets adjusted because you get use to the lower friction point.
I HAD to when bike was new......Did the derby cover thang and finally got it right....Before that it was clumbsy and there was no way for me to manage slow tight turns and the graceful balerina stuff....now me n her can dance in step......Took it in for 1K service last week and they musta readjusted at the cable.....So I readjusted it my way and now me n her are back to waltzing again.
I need friction 1/4" off the handlebar andfull engagement when I hammer it....I got it and know how/when to adjust to keep it.
