Rode to work today in metro ATL. Overcast and 50s. Forty miles roundtrip. Actually very enjoyable. Had the tunes on. Roared up I-85 with the traffic flow. Good day.

Man do I feel your pain.......it's raining with snow on the ground and more to come. One nice thing is I went to the dealer show this weekend, all the toys and more toys and more toys!! It was great. All up until the time I decided to ride that mechanical bull! You just can't win on that thing!
Blue and sunny, 74 deg, along the beach, thru the back roads anda couple city's. I ate Wendy's burger combo with Coke. I left work early at 11:30pm (took some vacation) went home and changed cloths, stopped and ate lunchthen hit the road. Ended up at the housearound 3:00pm. I runalmost thru a tank of fuel and but on 180 miles.
I went into my garage, patted my baby on the headlight, opened the garage door to see it raining like a sum-bych, bout 38 degrees with no relief in sight. I closed garage door, drove to stealership for a cup of "free" coffee (free my ***, it's paid for alright) bought my bike a little bling trinket, and went back home.
COME ON SUMMERTIME
Sunday morning, 65 degrees in the morning, sunny not a cloud in the sky. Rode with another 12 friends about 220 miles round trip to the seafood festival in southwest florida..It was great ate lots of crabs & fish. There was over two thousand motorcycles there...Great time....
Didn't ride today but did yesterday and this weekend.
Low seventies here this week.
Saturday the sky was beautiful until I got on the road and it clouded over and cooled off a bit. The rain held off though and it never got cold. Had a great ride of about 120 miles through some nice country roads. Ended up in Chappell Hill and stopped at a small cafe (Bevers). Had some hot tea and a slice of cherry pie (heated, of course) with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on the side [sm=gobble.gif].
Took the super slab back home and went to a party.
Hang in there. Spring is coming.

...there's no spring, there was never any spring, spring's a long gone thing, there will never be a spring no more At least that's the way it feels when your skin is cracked and peeled and you been livin' under sixty pounds of blankets and the snow's driftin' up to your window and you're out of fire wood and a wolf is howlin' at your door....John Hiatt
