galen, I don't know about the bars your talking about but I have pictures of the reach touring bars on a EG Standard, look for the link
to the RoadKing bars, that might give you some ideas.

Hd makes them, $49 is all they cost, just had to run the clucth cable where the bars come from the fairing, actually looks a little cleaner than thru the fairing, then I had to bend the brake line a little to get it to work, but I 'll tell ya don't go any bigger with the bars or you'll have to replace all the cable's.
Made a huge difference in the comfort of my ride.

TN HERITAGE,

Are your new bars chrome or stainless? Do you by any chance have any pictures you could post of your new setup? Sounds like exactly what I want to do to my Street Glide.

Thanks,
Doug

I just put a set of Wild1 Chubbies (5058) on my RK. I absolutely love them. I am 5'9" and always felt like I was humped over the bike reaching for the bars, along with the neck pain and hand numbness. I sit up straight now. The bars are nice and fat and are finished in showcrome instead of s/s. The nice thing is they look like they belong there, kind of old school stock looking. I ran the electricals through the bars. It was a tight fit, but no extensions needed. They advertise that you can use your stock cables. Because these bars come back another 2" to 3", I replaced all my cables with 2" over braided s/s. Looks awesome. The entire job took me about 12 hours on and off, but I am not a wrench. here is a pic. It was taken at dusk so it may not look all that great.
