Thanks folks....Looks like the Ness is the most popular choice.....I will have to check it out.

I found the part number, but what is the note about having to zip tie the air temp sensor to the MAP?? Sounds a little sketchy and jury-rigged to me. Anyone know about this??

Take care,
Dave

Not sure while folks here feel the HD version is so bad, but I'm sure they'll chime in.
the reason it is considered so bad is because it is not serviceable like k&n and A. Ness and it probably doesnt flow as much air due to its material.
my dealer puts together an A\C kit that that uses HD back plate and ness filter and HDhardware and ends up being cheaper than SE kit. The rienharts are a good choice i love mine.

Welcome Shoe,

Go for the Ness Big Sucker stage 1 (you can use stock cover)

Another great thing is ,no more rubber hoses for breathing.

You can get a good price at www.mandmcycles.com $ 115

Greetz,
Peter

Welcome, you cannot go wrong for ANBS. Down the road if you are looking for every last last hp or tq then there are other ones that will provide better numbers. But, for the money stage 1 set up ANBS is hard to beat.

Recently installed a big sucker and there was nothing about a zip tie anywhere. Only problem I had was that the female end of one of the stand offs was not threaded and I had to break out my tap and die set.

What I read from one of the sites that sells it is that in order for it to work on the 07 you have tozip-tie the Air Temp Sensor to the MAP sensor. Itdoen't mention anything for the08's at all (which is what I have).

Makes me wonder if this thing wouldeven fit the 08 duetoa posibledifference in the throttle bodies?

I'm sorry if this whole thing is a repeatfor you guys, but I do appreciate the help......big time!!

Thanks again,
Dave
