Default HELP ! please

2007 FLHX has developed the following:

After riding 30 miles + : as I come to a stop the Idle will sit at 1500 RPM's - [:@]
drops after 1 - 2 min.

After riding in the twisty mountain roads: as I come to a stop, acts like I dropped a cyclinder RPM's at 500 - 700 rpms and will stay there until I re-start the bike.. [:@]

bike has: 9,800 miles , Full Sac "true duals" with SE mufflers, Stage 1 SE kit , I run all redline oils..

Gas is fresh Union 76 - 91 octane []

I hate the stealers, and has only been in the shop for the stage 1 down load done with 10 miles on the bike..

Can I fix this ?? or will have to take back to the shop ??

I'm guessing it's something to do with your ECM. If you don't have a SERT or PIII where you can go in and look/change the mapping, then it's off to the shop you go. Alternatively, it could be a bad o2 sensor. I don't know how to test them (if you even can) but they aren't expensive and not too difficult to replace.

Could be a combination ofa couple things. If ECM related, check codes, possibly related to the speed sensor. The other is the combination of the stage 1 and the fulsac. Not a good pair, the stage 1 was designed for the stock head pipe configuration.

trackadaptor, Welcome to the same boat I'm in. My 06 Ultra, same problem since new. It has never showed a code of any kind.21,000 miles later and 2 sets of induction seals, Idle air speed motor, 5 different downloads. Stage 1 didn't stop it, SERT didn't. I contacted MOCO and filed a customer safety complaint. Service manager told me that problem and the repairs associated with it will be covered under warranty for as long as I own the bike. It still does it on occasion. more when it's hotter. I think mine, Is the Induction module. I,ve noticed lately they can clean the Idle air passageway that the Idle Air Speed Motor sets in and the bike will behave till it- dries out- or losses it's lubrication and it will start to stick again. One of the first things they checked was to make sure the air filter gasket was good so no dirt was getting into that passage. So far mine is not right yet!11[:@][:@][:@] Hope you have better luck than me. Dan

My 06 ran fine with SE slip ons, SE air and no Sert or PCIII. But when I put on the fullsac true dual kit I started having idle and slow running problems. The PCIII and a good map fixed that, but after other problems with the PCIII I took it and the duals off and am much happier now.
