Maybe it's getting too hot. 2006 and newer bikes start to shut down cylinders and reduce the idle as a way to combat heat problems. Maybe when you restart it, it resets the computer. Check this out.http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/...t_Strategy.pdf
