I just bought the V&H pipes I wanted nowI am looking at fuel management. I no the fuelpack is a few $ cheaper. Do both work well or just spend the extra $ for PC3. Thought I would check here for some help
Thanks
i've had the same question as you but after reading the formums for a few weeks i am now convinced that the pclll from jamie at fuelmoto is the way to go ,that is what i am doing
I visited there website a couple days ago. I guess i will spend the extra hundred and get the PC3. Can you just replace the air filter with a high flow K&N or do you have to change the backing plate to I would like to keep my stock cover.

You need to change the backing plate if you want to get the most out of a K&N filter set up.
PCIII is the way to go and fuelmoto is a good place to get one from.
I have and love my fuel pak. Easy to install, easy to program, and easy to update as you make changes to your ride.
Final note, GREAT customer service...
I have had 4 twin cam 100+hp harleys(heads/strokers/big bore/cams,etc) w/PCs,TFIs,SERTs.All worked well in their arena. The sert is probablly the best/accurate for a built motor.Anyway,I bought a new 08 & will be keepin her fairly stock for warranty issues. Also,I don't want to be married to the dyno or tuner.I had the dealer install a SE air cleaner & do the Stage 1 download at the time of delivery. The bike ran pretty hot.I decieded to put a set of V&H tru duals on & was willing to let V&H be my proxy tuner & use their FuelPak.The thing really works nice.Better than I expected.Customer service is great,Adam helped with the map since I am running supertrapp discs mufflers on their pipes.Changed 2 settings & WOW!Runs great & Kool Too!NO DYNO DOLLARS!They are adding maps all the time. They now have a map for Andrews 26H cams for the 07 & 08 touring models.I chose the cheeper way this time,NO WORRIES & the bike will run OK if I need to take off the FP for my friendly dealer visits if needed.Regards,Tom

I have the Arlen Ness Big Sucker 1...My understanding is that it is NOT a K&N element but is very similar. Works for me and yes....You can keep the stock football cover
