Default Ridestr8 question

What exactly does this rear swingarm problem feel like? I have an 08 RG and this weekend on a couple of occasions going around some long sweeping turns, with my wife on the back, the back end started acting like I was riding on a grooved road. When I look back I think the pavement was smooth. Never had this happen before. T.

have installed a few ride st8's and lots of glide pro's both work well . they make your bike extremely stable and give a more secure (less wallowy)feel even at low speeds but at highway speeds they are majic

Area51,

I have the ridestr8 installed and OCCASSIONALLY I still notice a little wobble (usually on our crappy New England roads). Have you installed both the ridestr8 and the glide pro together? If so any problems or do they work in sync? Thinking about installing a glide pro as well. Or just adding Sta-Bo bushings .

hey BB06flhx I have not installed both together but in theory should work great .just a note I have some roadracing experience and have pushed my flht through a 180kph corner so hard,(while testing the limits of the glide pro for information perposes only)I had to fold the floor boards up and put my feet on top and still no wiggle.also if you are noticing it only on bumpy roads chek your shocks the stock ones aren't great (progressives, ems, whitebros etc...are better)and tire pressures 40-42lbs in rear 38-40 in front

captsam54 glide pro is my favorite cause it cures the problem by absorbing the stress at the point were the frame is desighed to take it.but not saying the others aren't good......would like to hear bb06flhx if he try's them together or anyone else
