They are as easy to install as washing the bike. Ten minutes a side. No side effects other than more torque and a great sound. I REALLY like mine. Think I'm going to try removing packing and see what they sound like.
I have a 2005 Ultra (Stock), and was thinking of putting them on. Is the sound ear bleeding loud or just loud like pleasant loud?
I also have a Suzuki Volusia with Vance and Hines Straight-shots, which are just about right.
Thanks.

I just put them on my 02 RK (and yes, to answer my own question, they do fit without any modifications). I also have an 02 Volusia that I've drilled out the baffles on the stock pipes. The wild pigs are louder than that. I have a friend that has an 02 Vol with the V&H cruisers...they aren't that loud. Hope this helps out a bit...was the only thing I had to compare it to. I really like the sound these put out although I haven't had a chance to get it on the road yet.
You will find, however, that whether it's louder or quieter than your Vol, it'll still sound a sh*t load meaner. LOL
Just the answer I was looking for.
Do you still ride the Vol? I'll tell ya', I think it is a great bike.
I saw the Ultra, and knew it was coming home with me.
For the little for the insurance to include both bikes, I think I will keep it for awhile.
I took them both out for awhile today. The noise level for the pipes on the Vol. are what I'm looking for on the Ultra. Although it will still be more beefier.
Thanks again for the input.
