After only 4 of the longest months of my life I get to pick up m 08' Ultra! Bad part is I have to get through a day of work without getting too distracted or daydreaming about picking it up. Once I get it I can finally add it to my Signature block instead of a plain one with no pic. Luckily I live in Honolulu and get to ride year round due to the weather. But you can only ride so far until you hit water and have to turn around. But atleast it is finally here!!![sm=biker.gif]
Hope you can sleep... Make sure to call off sick on Thursday... ya need some personal time, IMO... Have fun with the new bike, and just so you know, the bike is only a down payment on the accessories... This is a great site, and very informative, but it has lead me, and many others, into a chrome and accessory addiction, to which there is no known cure....
Congrats Big Smitty! Don't reckon you're gonna get much sleep for awhile. lol
I know what you mean. I lived in Hana, Maui for 3 years. Been back on the mainland for 1.5 years. Great riding (especially the "road to Hana") but only so far you can go.
If we ever move back, I reckon it will be to the Big Island.
Great news and congratulations on the new scoot. As you know lots of good advice on this forum. I agree with PappaTravis that I think your're coming down with something and would be best to not expose your coworkers with that big smile you'll have on Thursday.
Congrats on the new scoot!! I know the feeling. Just picked up my 08 Street Glide this past Saturday. Even though I have had a few new bikes over the last couple of years, an 06 SG included, I am as giddy as a school girl. Had a big grin the whole way home on her. I'd venture to say the biggest one yet. I spend time at work thinking about the mods I'm gonna do and the miles I'm gonna log.
