IDS Bearing failure
Hopefully I am the only one having this problem. Bought an IDS for my 07 RG about 6 mo ago 6000mi, all was fine, works great...Then....yesterday I pulled the rear wheel to replace the tire and the IDS bearing came out in shattered pieces...WTF!!! so I calmed down and got on the phone to NAPA and no such animal, MOCO only, so I called around and of course no local dealers stock one or ever heard of one failing sooooo I order go ahead and tell my local to get me one and he says week to 10 days special order.....Weather has been so great lately (No Calif) I really don't wanna be down for weeks. Maybe I'll just put it back to stock and forget the IDS till next tire change.....Ok Rant over
