Fits between the fork legs onto the lower tree. You will have to chase the threads on the tree as they are full of paint.

Yup...Chase the threads with a 1/4-20 tap. Was wanting to install mine yesterday before a ride and the bolts made about 1.5 turns before getting really tight. Did not have that tap so went and got one...Installed it and now I will HAVE to go on another ride today to determine if it works!

I ride in 110 degree "dry heat". I didn't know I had one till I saw a chrome one at H-D.

Think I'll trade my non-useable fuel door push button for one...

In my never ending quest to reduce engine temps, I have found that the baffle actually reduces HIGHWAY engine temps by 5-10 degrees. Little or no difference at low speeds.

Bev, why is the push button unuseable? I have one on my '08. I bought the one with the locking push button.

Oh, yeah, and I'm going to leave the baffle on all the time, especially this summer just to help remind me winter really is over!
