I really hate to start a new thread but I am heading out to the keys and will wind up at Bikeweek and will be looking to buy a fairing. I'm doing the research now.
I have looked at (on line) Dragonflys, Quadzilla, Dead Center, and the new kid on the block Fire Bagger. Are there any more fairings out there? My question is who has which ones and how do you like it?
I don't think I would want the plastic Dragonfly, I'd rather have fiberglass.
RE: Buying a Fairing, the search function don't work
You want to search within HDForums?
There was a post yesterday referring you to the Forum Issue section. It talked about the problem.
Bottom line it said you could go to google.com, and search this forum using "faring (or whatever)" site:hdforums.com
Haven't actually tried but looks logical.
Good luck.
RE: Buying a Fairing, the search function don't work
I have Dead Center Cycles fairing and like it a lot. I did research for months before pulling the trigger and I am convinced it is the best one out there for me. You can get it from Rice Lake HD (ask for Brad) at a 205 discount from factory pricing and they are a DCC dealer. DCC will then drop ship it to you and warrant their produce. Their customer service is second to none and the product it top shelf.
