Tax refund?? mmm, need to look into that. Wher do I get one of those???? LMAO
The HD color matched lowers are awesome and worht every penny. Go with the vented. The vented are not available for my RG but the lowers themselves are awesome.
Had a FLHTC, put the non-vent lowers on them. I have a FLHRI, and just put them on also, but went with the vented lowers... have not had the vented long enough to see how they do in different seasons... I think I will miss mywind deflectors for the upper body on my RK....
Thanks for the advice. Looks like I'll be going with HD color matched. Do they offer any usable storage?
Each has a "glove box," which offers some usable storage. I also ordered the pouches, which replace the standard flaps and provide a smidgeon more storage. When I get them today I'll be able to provide better input. FWIW, I ordered the lowers with pouches, liners, and quick-detach kit on 02/03 and they're due today. That's 12 days, about 18 days faster than I expected. Either I caught the paint run just right or they are now keeping an inventory of popular colors (Black Cherry in my case), so maybe you'll get lucky too. My Tour Pak took exactly one month, ordered in Dec. 2006.
I ordered color matched vented lowers from Zanotti's on Monday and received a tracking number today saying that they have shipped. I can't wait to get them on. For some reason I really like the way they look.
I wonder why the vented ones aren't available for the Roadglide.I have a 08 RG and would prefer the vented lowers.I ended up orderingthe soft snap-on lowers for some wintertime wind protection.I haven't received them yet, hopefully they'll do the trick.
At highway speeds, there's too much wind coming from below for my taste.
