RE: (Sneak a Peak) Preliminary photos of my new 124 Street Slammer!
Man that looks good alot of work into that one, Real intrested in the project and I think you made the right decision on the inner fairing I also left mine flat black for all the reasons mentiond above. Get that thing broke in already so we know how she runs!

Hey GM if you're looking to get rid of those stock shocks let me know. I think the fitting for the air line should be a 1/8th npt so if you can get a plug in that size the oil won't come out during shipping

hey--how does that streetglide run lowered an extra inch. Can you still make turns...or do you just have to ride it in a straight line? WOW--it just dawned on me....maybe you are really, really, really short? Why would you lower a lbike that already has ground clearance issues? Please share all your vast knowledge with us......

Your comment on ground clearance has me scratching my head as I've had no issues with clearance. Maybe your just an overweightguywho's bottomedhis out on a few too many occasions...who knows? Maybe lay off the twinkies there for a while and ride your bike to work cause that might help?I'm guessing your over here since Terry locked your thread huh? Well i'm glad you found your way over here...but hope Terry doesn't ban you as he did warn you in the locked thread not to go stickin your nose in other posts. Maybe you better go back and read thatwarning causei'd sure hate to see you get banned from here. We'd all miss your warmpersonality.

That thing sounds BAD AXX, Cant wait to see it, I also can't wait to see how those progressive rear shocks work out, I'm thinking about getting them also, A freind of mine has the 440's in the 11.5" version and loves them, I would like to go with the 11's myself as I have a short leg length, and recently had back surgery so my leg strenth isn't what it used to be, good luck with the build and keep us posted. If you don't mind can you tell me what you used to lower the front end as I would like to do that also.

Lowered an inch! You might want to change the name from pavement shredder to floorboard shredder. How much clearance do you now have on your bagger? 3 inches? How you gonna handle agressive off camber turns? Planning on dragging those pipes a lot? Ever see someone bottom out the frame, or catch one of theor lowered board mounts, and get tossed off their bike? Just askin.
