Road Zeppelin???
I did a search before posting this question and was unable to find any information concerning the Road Zeppelin seat. Does anyone own one?If so how do you like it? and finally was it worth the price Harley is asking for it? Thanks for looking and I'd appreciate any information you provide... Thanks "D"
I have had one on for about 20K miles now. It is very comfortable. If you have short legs it may be a problem because it is pretty wide. Value for the dollar is always in the eye of the beholder. I considered a Corbin before I bought this and it would have been close in the money. I don't feel bad about what I paid. My only concern is this seat has moving parts and who knows how long the compressor will last.
it does raise you up a bit, so the vertically challenged folks may have a problem. The wife and I really like the seat, especially on the long rides. Comfortable and has the ability to adjust it while riding. I got the leather one for less than HD wanted for the vinyl one. got it from Hales HD on the net.
Bought a used one from someone here, loved it - but my portion of the saddle was WAY too wide for the better half's comfort, so I sold it and bought a Corbin. Did a 500-mile day with it w/o a problem.
I had a Mustang on my last bike and replace it after 35k. Lost it's comfort. I bought one for my current bike. It pushed me forward too much. Rode it less than 100 miles and sold it. I'm not much on the vinyl used in a Mustang either. It's hard to beat leather.
