I love mine. And I love it even better since I bought it off eBay for about half of retail. The only thing they seller didn't send me was the grab strap and instructions. Did I mention I love it.
Is the seat easy to remove ifI want to swap out for solo riding??
Thanks,
Mike
Compressor is built into the seat.
It removes just like an ordinary seat. the screw on the rear fender. Only difference is you have to disconnect the seat wiring from the bike's accessory pigtail under the seat. You can swap seats in less than 5 min, assuming you don't start with a beer in your hand. with that, it will take you 10 min.
I like the seat. Concur with all the comments about it making you a little taller in the saddle and that it is wide - however, I added the seat right out of the show room so I have no real comparison to stock seat. I was extremely disappointed that after 3 years and 80,000 miles of all weather use the stitching started to rip out. Leather is holding up fine, but for that money you'd think it would stay together. Use the seat cover - when I took it apart to restitch it, it looks like some mold started to develop in the foam. And yes, it has been treated with leather conditioner.
