Default Which Seat??

Narrowed it down to two. Corbin Touring or the HD Road Zepplin. Never owned either but will have one of these two soon. Anyone have input or experience with either seat? Both claim to be the end all of seats and are totally different animals. Any help is appreciated. Most of my riding is 2-300 mi days but at least once a yr we will do 4-600 mi days back to back for 10 - 14 days in a row. My old Mustang seat was good for about 30000 mi. and needed replaced. Bought a new one about a yr ago and it never felt right. Sent it back for a rebuild and am not really expecting much improvement. The old seat is way better than the new one. I got the impression that perhaps they made changes in the seat production. Not sure just decided to go with something different.

Never owned either, either. I do know that Corbin's are very firm seats. Some people swear "by" them. Some people swear "at" them.

Hope you choose the right one.

Corbin would be (is) my choice. It will soften a bit after 1000-1500 miles.

I have had Corbins on my last 2 bikes - nothing better IMHO. They are a very firm saddle and spread the weight evenly over your butt. Some seats are soft and pillow-like and it is almost counterintuitive to think a firmer seat is more comfortable than a softer seat but it is. If you think about it your weight has to bear at some point and if it is not evenly spread by a firm saddle there will be hot spots in a soft saddle that'll cause monkey butt.*

In addition Corbins are made of real leather instead of plastic and allow your butt to*breathe. I think that sweating too adds to monkey butt.

They need a little breaking in to get aquatinted with your butt.
