Some rags are better than others. I'll use the cheap ones for the grime and the good ones for waxing. The good ones get washed.

Glad to hear some here have more money to waste than I.
But on the other hand disappointed, you'd rather fill up our
landfills, rather than use something over again until it's useful
life is finished.
Washing your rags won't cut into your riding time.
I venture none here do their laundry by hand (I don't), bet you
have an automatic washer. Throw the soap in, the rags in, turn
it on and go ride. they're done when you come comeback.
But then again I see a lot of people that have more money than brains too.

Use 'Micro-Fibre' rags, ...wash after use and discard any that are greasy and/or worn.

You wanna bet!
I use to do this and the oil/grease would transfer to the washer basket. My wife would throw her clothes in and guess what,oil/grease on her clothes. Then it's having to spend time listening to her yell it me!
I'll never wash shop towels again.I have my son get themfrom his work and return them when they are all dirty.

I have access to bags of shop rags at work, so I swap out the dirty ones for clean. The uniform company washes them for us, and exchanges them weekly. As for the rags and towels I use for cleaning and detailing, they get washed, dried and folded until they get used again.
