Wonder how many of you wash your rags to reuse them or just buy new ones. a half dozen cost < $5 in Walmart.

Cheaper (easier) just to pitch them and buy/scrounge new ones.

I guess it's a waste but I'd rather be riding then washing rags, sorry.

If they're not greasy, ah toss 'em into an old laundry basket 'til thar's 'nuff fer a load, then wash 'em. Figger li'l less fer the landfill, an' it ain't that big a deal ta do.

I use my micro fiberrags almost every day. Even though they are inexpensive...I still wash and reuse them. They get washed by themselves, no fab softener, dryed, and folded back up for the garage box. I'll go through them regularily and pitch out the old ones/greasy ones. I don't wash and reuse any that have heavy road grime or oil on them. They get tossed right away.

Also, I wear a undershirt every day to work. When I go buy ne ones, I buy a couple big packs at once (like 15-20 shirts), and alll my old ones hit the garage rag box to be used on stuff other than paint and chrome. Things like the other vehicles, oil changes, under caraige cleaning, etc.

We should try and reuse what ever we can, as long as it is suitable for the job. I'm not a tree hugger, but I'm not rich either.
