I went with the Polk Db1000's and put them in the air and volt holes in my fairing. They fit great when put in from the front, but the shop can't figure out how to mount them from the back without having to silicone or 2-way tape them.
I remember there were a couple of guys here who have done the install and I need to find out how they mounted them. If someone can shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
Can you fit the tweeters in the gauge plugs that the EGlide Std uses and then snap them in? My brother did that on his and it worked great. Just dont know if your speakers will fit those plugs!
Don't know if this will help - I mounted mine by drilling two holes in the inner fairing. The center hole for bolting the cup in place, the second for the wire to pass through.
